I thought today I would share some of my favorite typography.
Jessica Hische…never can get enough of her perfectly crafted flow. Amazing stuff.
I first heard of Slide Sideways because they did the promo posters for Terrain a few years ago. I love the whimsical personality to their work. Lots of yummy textures as well.
Eric Smith of IDRAWALLDAY is actually a current Spokane dweller. His work is just splendid and full of character.
I also have been enjoying doing a lot of research on late 1800’s typography for a logo I’m working on. Those slanted baselines have really made a comeback and they really only work super well with handcrafted type. I also love all of the flourishes and how each line is a separate font that goes so well with the whole piece. I can’t even imagine how long it would have taken to create a piece like this one.
