This font is based off my handwriting (when I’m trying fairly hard) pictured at the bottom. Ever since I was little I’ve always changed my style of handwriting every few months. I would see other people’s handwriting and think it was neat, so I would give it a try. I always like to go back and forth between how I write lower-case a’s. Nerd alert, I know. But this italic handwriting has stuck for a few years. You can make it as big, curvy and dramatic as you want…or neat and tidy. When I started drawing a chunky version of it today, it reminded me of wind for some reason. So, here you go! Windy City for this fine Type-ified Tuesday.
My handwriting seems to change on a hourly basis. Usually depending on how much coffee I've had. And I always randomly capitalize letters. Not quite sure why…
And I don't think there's any need for a nerd alert, I think it's an artist doing what they do and having fun. I like you 🙂
