I have a pretty amazing little brother. He’s 15 years younger than me (same mom and dad!) and we have a special bond over drawing creepy monsters and funny cartoon characters. My dad has been travelling a lot with his job and my mom is in a Master’s program, so I’ve been having him over once a week to hang out. We play board games or video games or he does his homework and I work on design work. Last night we did some drawing. This was my strange creation…

 

Doing art with a 9 year old really can spark your imagination. He’s always drawing the weirdest little armies of creatures. I have no idea how he comes up with them. Maybe next time I can talk him into letting me scan some of his monster drawings.
