I recently ordered a few of my own shop items to get a feel for the products and take some photos. Society6 just creates digital representation of what your items look like, so I thought it was kind of hard to tell how they would actually turn out. I’ve been super impressed with the quality of the products and although I thought the size of the print on the tote bag would be bigger, the actual bag is a lot bigger than I imagined and I think that makes up for the variance. I love the size of it, it’s great for taking around books or magazines or even clothes for a weekend trip. The pillow is nice too, although I would recommend just ordering the case and picking up your own filler as the filler pillow is a little flimsy.
All in all, I’m really happy with the society6 stuff and I think I will keep my shop there for now. It’s nice to be able to add items easily for folks who have requests. I don’t profit much from each sale, but I think the idea of having my art out there in useful ways is pretty neat. I’ll have to do another giveaway soon! Check out the rest of the items here.
