Right when I started drawing this font, I thought of Smurfs. I never really watched the show as a kid, but their distinct round bubbly little features are quite unforgettable. And all that blue! I like blue, as you can see quite clearly on most of my posts. I struggle to break away from blue, it’s like my comfort color.
This week got off to a rough start with ridiculously fierce head colds hitting our household. But I have great plans to make things better because it’s my birthday on friday and I am going to make my very favorite key lime pie recipe. AND I got my new computer this weekend…it’s absolutely glorious. I won’t let a silly head cold keep me down, or this terrible weather, or the fact that MORE street construction started right in front of our apartment…hello jackhammers!! OK, enough venting.
