Caleb and I had a great Valentine’s Day. I made a deelish dinner. My favorite part was the homemade rolls. Martha knows what’s up. Check out the recipe I used here. It was super easy, even though my forearms are a little soar from kneading. Caleb brought me flowers and chocolate and some fancy wine.
I ordered Caleb his valentine card from this cute shop. I loved the little illustrations and type work.
After dinner we met up with our good friends, Brent and Amy for some bowling and PBR’s. We had a grand ole time.
Caleb and Brent are really good bowlers…Amy and I, not so much.
Overall it was a great time. I loved sharing the evening with people we love. And to top it all off, Caleb did the dishes. What a good man.
In other news, I really enjoyed watching the Grammy’s on Sunday. Probably one of the best ones I’ve ever seen. I’m partial though because one of my friends won!! Kory produced and engineered my last album and has played bass in my band quite a bit. He’s probably the kindest, most generous person I’ve ever met. He also works really hard as an engineer in Seattle. It’s amazing that he was nationally recognized for all the work he does. Here’s his acceptance speech! Yay Kory!
